2026 Scholarships
SPOA Scholarship Program
The Sunnyside Property Owners Association (SPOA) annually presents college scholarships to graduating high school seniors continuing their education. Scholarships are awarded to Sunnyside students in recognition of academic excellence and community service and is made possible through the generosity of Sunnysiders and SPOA members. Grants are awarded on a one-time basis, are not renewable and are paid upon proof of registration at an institute of higher education. Applicants must have resided within the SPOA membership boundaries (Kings Canyon, Temperance, Jensen, and Peach Avenues) for their entire junior and senior years regardless of high school attended. Applications are accepted January 15th through April 15 th of each year.

Graduate from graduate of Sunnyside High School attending CSU Fresno majoring in Public Health and pursuing a Medical degree.

Graduate from Edison High School playing soccer and majoring in Chemistry and Forensic Science at CSU Chico.

Graduate from Sunnyside High School attending Cal Poly majoring in Computer Engineering.
